On 18th May 2021 I took part in my 10th of 11 marathons in 11 days. I am now officially a TiT… thats right, I may have been called this a few times in the past, but I really am a TiT. I have completed Ten Marathons in Ten Days. Today the course was muddier than ever, with lots of puddles, but it was one of the nicest days to run on, with no rain and sunshine. I wore trail trainers for the first time ever, and they felt great splashing through the mud.
Today I ran my 82nd qualifying event towards the 100 marathon club. With 10 marathons in 10 days this number has flown up. It is kind of sad that tomorrow will be my last marathon in this adventure. It has been such a great challenge.
Today was fall of cheers and good wishes for all those who have completed their TiT, with some still going on to take on Twenty in Twenty. The course was muddy, but everything kind of ticked. I was full of concentration to keep my finish time consistent, and I had a lovely run. Probably the best my legs have felt for all my marathons, although my legs are heavy and clearly tired. At one point a little puppy chased me jumping up on my leg, clearly trying to sabotage my sub 4 attempt haha.
So happy I managed to finish my 10th marathon in 10 days in 3:59:26 on my watch, and 3:59:25 official time. That is 10 marathons in 10 days finishing in 3:59:2X with 6 seconds separating the slowest and fastest times.
